Granite is a natural acid rock with great firmness, formed from volcanic magma. It belongs to the igneous rocks and it was created by coagulation and crystallization of magma. Granite consists of alkaline feldspars, plagioclase, microcline, orthoclase, mica, quartz and to a much smaller percentage other minerals.  Its contents determine its color. It’s used as decorative material in buildings.
